SPIN-STABILIZED PERMANENT MAGNET TOP PRODUCTS

Levitron tops can be divided into ceramic tops and rare-earth tops. Ceramic tops are made of a "ferrite" material which mixes iron oxide with one or more additional elements. Rare-earth tops are made of "neodymium-iron-boron" which is manufactured under high pressure and a strong magnetic field to create the most powerful permanent magnets. They are also more expensive, but fortunately both types make wonderful Levitron Tops.
